American alternative rockers Spin Doctors are returning to Australia and New Zealand in May 2026, celebrating 35 years of their beloved debut album, Pocket Full Of Kryptonite.
The 11-date run marks the first time that Spin Doctors have performed in Australia since 1993. With such a long wait between visits, the band won’t only hit capital cities, they’ve also booked regional hubs across the country.
The tour will begin in Fremantle, then take the band through Adelaide, Geelong, Melbourne, Newcastle, Port Macquarie, Sydney, Townsville, Brisbane, and the Sunshine Coast, before wrapping up in Auckland, New Zealand. You can find all the tour dates and venues below.
Pre-sale tickets will be available on Tuesday, 2 December, at 10 am AEDT, followed by the general sale on Wednesday, 3 December, at 10 am local time. You can find tickets on the Destroy All Lines website.
Recognised for hits such as Two Princes and Little Miss Can’t Be Wrong, Spin Doctors’ debut album was a global hit, reaching #1 in Australia and New Zealand and achieving Platinum status in Australia and Gold in New Zealand.
Lead vocalist Chris Barron expressed delight at the band’s highly anticipated return to Australia. Having lived in Australia, he’s keen to “relive good memories.”

“I lived in Australia when I was a kid, and I’m friends with Dave Gleeson of Screaming Jets,” Barron remarked. “It’s been something like 30 years since we played Australia, and we’ve never played New Zealand! Way too long! What have we been thinking?!?
“I’m beside myself with anticipation. I can’t wait to relive good memories, see old and new friends, and rock Pocket Full Of Kryptonite!!!”
Guitarist Eric Schenkman said, “Really stoked about bringing our Pocket Full Of Kryptonite Anniversary Tour down under! The band has never sounded better, and it has definitely been a minute!! See you there!”
Drummer Aaron Comess added, “We are very excited to be coming back to Australia for the first time in 30 years and to New Zealand for the first time ever to celebrate the 35th anniversary of our debut album, Pocket Full Of Kryptonite.
“The record did very well down under, and we are so grateful for all the support you have given us in making these songs live on for all these years. We will be playing the album in its entirety, along with other songs of ours and even a few covers that we have been playing lately. It’s going to be a really special tour for us, and we hope to see you there.”
