Is Eminem About To Spoil Aussie Artists Scoring #1 Debut On ARIA Charts?

The race to #1 on the ARIA Albums chart this week was set to be a race between Aussie acts, Tash Sultana's Flow State and Troye Sivan's Bloom, until Eminem went ahead and dropped a surprise record on us all last Friday.

According to midweek figures, the US rapper's Kamikaze is the favourite to take out top spot on this week's chart, with Sultana and Sivan set to challenge and also score a top three debut.

Other albums set to debut on the Albums list this week includes Passenger's Runaway, Why Don't We's 8 Letters (both top ten), Alice Cooper's A Paranormal Evening At The Olympia Paris (top 40), The Kooks' Let's Go Sunshine and The Wiggles' Wiggle Pop! (both top 50).

Eminem is also set to dominate the Singles chart with ten songs predicted to debut in the top 50 - Lucky You, The Ringer (both top ten), Greatest, Kamikaze (both top 20), Fall, Not Alike (both top 30), Normal, Stepping Stone, Venom (top 40) and Good Guy (top 50).

Meanwhile, Dean Lewis could clinch four-weeks atop the chart with Be Alright, but he'll have a fight on his hands as George Ezra's Shotgun is predicted to climb into the top three.
