General public tickets aren't even on sale yet but that hasn't stopped pre-sale tickets for Metallica's October Australian tour hitting resale website Viagogo at over five times the original price.
Tickets currently available to purchase on the website range anywhere from $160-$500, while some C Reserve tickets (original cost price $133.25) to the metal outfit's Adelaide show are being sold for $768 each.

Metallica are the latest act to have tickets to their shows hit Viagogo at exorbitant prices. Last year, tickets to US rapper Kendrick Lamar's Australian shows were being advertised on the website for up to $1,400 and tickets to Taylor Swift's Reputation tour were being sold for over $1,700.
In 2017, tickets to Ed Sheeran's stadium tour were on offer on Viagogo within hours of general public tickets going on sale and were being offered for over $3,500, while one seller offered four tickets to Adele's WA show in March 2017 for $4,146.71 each.
General public tickets for Metallica's Australian tour go on sale from 2pm local time (excluding Sydney which go on sale from 3pm) on Monday 18 March. For more details, click on theGuide or scroll down.
