"I’ve been wanting to shout this from the rooftops for so long!"
By now you'd surely have heard and seen Taylor Swift's single and music video for ME! (it's only broken a bunch of records), but did you know it was co-written and co-produced by one of New Zealand's finest?
Joel Little, who many will know as the producer behind Lorde's Grammy-nominated debut album Pure Heroine (which also features the Grammy-winning song Royals), co-wrote ME! alongside Swift and Brendon Urie and co-produced with Swift.
"I’ve been wanting to shout this from the rooftops for so long!" Little tweeted following the song's release on Friday.
"Such an honour and so much fun."
I’ve been wanting to shout this from the rooftops for so long! Me keep secret good! Loved every minute of making this with @taylorswift13 and @brendonurie. Such an honour and so much fun. pic.twitter.com/dmTDW11t6t

Little has previously worked with a string of huge international names including Khalid, Sam Smith, Shawn Mendes, Kesha, James Bay and Ellie Goulding, as well as local acts like Daniel Johns, Amy Shark and Jarryd James.
Meanwhile, ME! made history following its release as noted by cnet. The single broke the YouTube record for the highest female and solo 24-hour debut for any music video (currently sitting at almost 97 million views), as well as the most-watched video in 24 hours on Vevo and the Amazon records for most first day streams and on-demand voice requests with Alexa.
