It’s clear that Summafieldayze is done for another year, but once again the journey down Seaworld Drive has been all but worth it.

It was all about Parkway Drive and Sgt Brody in 2012 for Benny Doyle.

Sweet and harmless, yet without a great deal of substance.

“I think there’s mixed reactions about it because it’s not really in the same vein as what I was doing at one point, and that’s kind of one of the reasons the band called it quits.”

This collection is somewhat of a victory lap considering the amount of praise that has already been heaped on these discs.

“Obviously when I first started I was just in it for the novelty aspect of getting gamey sounds, then it wasn’t long after I started doing it that my main focus became trying my hardest to make it not sound like a Game Boy.”

Although the set comes and goes all too quickly, by the end there’s no denying that young Claire Boucher has knocked it out of the park tonight.

"We want to hit people the right way, and hopefully make something that will move people.”

"We really wanted to get this one out of the way so we can keep doing stuff, instead of y’know, ‘We still haven’t released an EP yet, we still haven’t done it, we have to do it soon’. Now it’s done, it’s really good.”
