"We were so keen to shoot this live version to show off another side of our new single."
Premiering today via The Music, the new live clip from Aussie rockers Sophisticated Dingo “captures all of the pent-up energy, anger from cancelling shows”.
They’re itching to get back on stage ASAP and so they ventured to Brunswick’s Taste Police Recording Studios to capture a live version of Day In The Life.
"We were so keen to shoot this live version to show off another side of our new single including the outro that we play live but didn't make it on to the studio version,” frontman Lewis Matte said.
“It is a real moment where Jimmy and I focus our energy to build something for the crowd to latch on to and respond to during a show.
“While lockdowns are holding live music for ransom across state borders Australia-wide at the moment we are absolutely chomping at the bit to pull through this and head out on our tour in September and October!
“We are so excited to be playing in places we have never been to along with our favourite stops from past visits. We hope this taste can tide you over until then as you do your bit to help us through this time and open live music back up again!"
