Wax Witches have just released their clip to 'Alone' - one of the many tracks off the debut record 'Celebrity Beatings'.
Ever wondered what you look like when you're home alone? How retarded you gallop around the place to really loud music, how much food you consume or just generally the amount of weird shit that you do? Well, hopefully no one's set up creepy spy cams that you'll later find out about, but you can gain an idea with WAX WITCHES' new clip for their track 'Alone'.
A song that features on the debut album Celebrity Beatings, 'Alone' is a short lo-fi, punk gem that has a sound reminiscent to a much cooler, authentic era.
Filmed and edited by Nick Chalmers, 'Alone' features Wax Witches founder and only member Alex Wall gallivanting around his room, eating slabs of pizza and fruit loops from the box, as well as downing some OJ straight from the bottle.

We invade Wall's personal space, as we're given a quick tour of snooping through the collectables in his room. After watching him fuck his bed up through all the jumping and rolling around, Wall leads us outside for some fresh air. Here is where you'll find him with his strat, shredding by the garden that he soon defaces.
Contents aside, the filming of 'Alone' has been shot in a sweet, analogue fuzz, giving the illusion that this clip was actually made in the 90s. At times you'll believe your YouTube is going psycho as the frame will start jumping, yet you'll find it's all a part of the clip.
The vibe of 'Alone' proves hope for 90s revival both sonically and now visually through Wax Witches' grungey, punk rock demeanour. As far as I'm concerned, Wall pulls it off pretty well.
Catch both Wax Witches and Step Panther for their co-headlining launch tour this weekend. They'll be at Sydney's GoodGod on Friday before playing The Gasometer the following night in Melbourne!
