So… firstly I think I must state for the integrity of this review that I am mad keen on zombie apocalypses. I am also maddeningly keen on VELOCIRAPTOR. So when the two decided to make love and spawn this video, my world was kind of blown. So inevitably, bias 100%. IT’S GREAT.
The whole introduction just has you reeling, like, ‘what is this thing that I am exposing my eyes to right now.’ It goes for literally 1:12 minutes; the narrator’s lisp and the mash of cartoon and reality is a mixture of super creepy and super hilarious, and you’re not sure if you want to continue. You can’t un-see some things you know? But never fear. I can safely say that it is one of the best things I have seen in a very long time.

It’s like a B grade horror movie but better, because it’s a music video. The integration of the story and the track, not to mention the wicked visuals is just so excellent. Like, I cannot state my love for it any more. At one point the narrator states, “the only things the zombies found more delicious than human flesh, was a tasty tasty pop hook.” Fuck, this shit is good.
It’s like the boys from VELOCIRAPTOR did the zombie makeup themselves from a youtube clip. Shower death scenes, the contrast of the fun pop music to the crazy zombie killings, it’s just music videography at its best. Ten gold stars out of ten.
