Hearsay says that THE SHINY BRIGHTS rehearse in a warehouse full of washing machines, and a brand of detergent is what gave the band their name. Sometimes, whilst watching their new clip for ‘Run with Scissors’ I felt like I was in a washing machine. The camera couldn’t seem to focus on anything, just spun around and around and around. Can I blame the camerawork for my subsequent feeling of nausea? Or was it just my hangover?
