A relatively fresh face to the electronic scene, LA-based singer/producer MARZ LEON first made her presence known a couple of months ago with her debut track, ' L O N E R '. Now she backs it up with second release, 'Fire', an equally ambient affair that breathes of fuzzy vocals and slow, reverberating bass that will shake you right to your core.
The accompanying video maintains the minimalistic trait and vibe, showing Leon with slicked back hair, sans-shirt and crowned with a DIY head-piece. A mostly monochromatic display,with superimposed footage of a crimson-lipped woman appearing as an alternative to Leon's strong eye-lock with the camera.
With never so much as a glance-down and flutter-of-lashes up as movement from the singer, the video portrays the song title's intensity in mere facial expressions alone. A hauntingly evocative video that'll have you feeling the heat with every listen and watch.
