Well hey, everyone has a guilty pleasure right? And what artist doesn’t want a cross-dressing fan who wants to look like them? UK soul bearer ALICE RUSSELL is back with a smashing video for her latest track, ‘Heartbreaker’.
It is to officially be released on the 19th of November, followed shortly by the release of her LP ‘To Dust’ as promised, in February, 2013. The flair ALICE RUSSELL’s voice brings to the track is reflected quite diva-ishly in the video. Her distinguishable R&B influence mashed in with her long list of experience in the practice, has built up so to prepare us for quite a future installment.
Paired comic genius, Harry Shearer from The Simpsons, and the incredible vocals delivered by ALICE RUSSELL, this potent pair has produced something quite distinguishable. Lip-syncing the words like a teenage girl, empowering himself with layers upon layers of crafted makeup, and even wearing an identical dress to ALICE RUSSELL, Harry Shearer is nothing short of a beautifully talented man. Whether he dresses in drag to portray an alter ego, or a guilty pleasure of his, this video definitely brings out the light spirit in the song.
