In anticipation of her upcoming EP of the same name, ALICE JEMIMA has just released a video for her single 'Liquorice' which every bit as sweet as the song itself.
Brightly coloured and fun, the visuals of the video contrast Jemima's soft-spoken vocals in their demand for attention. While the attention-grabbing nature of the bright pops of colour contrasts to the sounds, the clean cut shapes and lines sit perfectly against the deceptively simple electro-pop and lyrics.
'Liquorice - EP' is due out June 17th but it's only the beginning for what is turning out to be a very big year for Alice Jemima. With multiple dates around the UK including two supporting Ladyhawke and a slot at Bestival you would think anyone would be satisfied and call it a good 2016, not Alice Jemima. In fact as if an EP wasn't a big enough release for one year, there is an album in the works which is tentatively set for release later this year.
Whenever the album makes it to our ears, there is one thing for certain, Alice Jemima is one to watch.
