The original version is already incredible with its hypnotic '80s electro beats and soaring vocals to accompany Celia Pavey's empowering lyrics. Swedish producer Maria Marcus' remix takes the song to a whole new level, giving it a more grooving disco beat while still keeping it true to Blue's. Of the excellent lot, Marcus' version is the shining star, a tune you'll be hearing in the club.
Californian TOKiMONSTA aka Jennifer Lee's remix has a strong drum beat that makes it addictively moreish, while British producer Maya Jane Coles turns Pavey's vocals dreamy and injects them in infectious techno for a catchy dance beat.
Alice Ivy could give Flume a run for his money and in her version Pavey morphs and fades into the beat, Ivy favouring striking synths over vocals but still getting the message across. The Power Ladies Remix EP is full of refreshing takes on a powerful song, hats off to these amazingly talented ladies.
