"Tragic, powerful and dynamic"
Following the tragic death of singer Phoebe Black just six days after laying down her vocals, the pressure was on for the Byron Bay heavy rockers to deliver when completing their debut.
They’ve not disappointed, producing a riff-riddled head stomper built around Black’s powerful, melodic voice. The driving rock of I Won’t Be Your Slave Anymore and the catchy So Alone have a hard-hitting simplicity that kicks arse and takes names. This independently produced effort sounds great too, with slick, dirty guitars and pounding drums all underpinned by Brent Crysell’s relentless bass attack. Tragic, powerful and dynamic.
