Tom Ballard: Taxis & Rainbows & Hatred

"Ballard was adorable, dorky, slightly awkward and just a little bit outrageous"

More Tom Ballard Tom Ballard Profile

The former triple j breakfast presenter/comedian Tom Ballard appeared on stage in front of a spotlight, with a red curtain serving as a backdrop.

He went to great lengths to discuss his concerns about religion, taxi drivers, homosexuality and everyday life as a gay man, rambling a little here and there but continually engaging his audience members.

Ballard was adorable, dorky, slightly awkward and just a little bit outrageous. He ended with a great story of a Kings Cross taxi driver who initiated a round of “taxi trivia” and left the audience satisfied and in high spirits.
