The Wooden Sky "punch above their weight, fuelled by Gavin Gardiner’s resonant vocals and fine gift for melody".

More The Wooden Sky More The Wooden Sky

The Montreal scene gets the most cred but country rockers The Wooden Sky appear determined to put Toronto on the music map with their fourth release.

For this record the band have turned up the amps and delivered ten cracking tunes. They may not be reinventing the wheel, but Write Them Down and Shake For Me punch above their weight, fuelled by Gavin Gardiner’s resonant vocals and fine gift for melody. Closer, Don’t You Worry About A Thing, is sure to get stuck in your head. A little album well worth checking out.
