Album Review: The Furrs - More Furrs

StarStarStar

"There’s enough here to satiate Furrs fans until they release an all-important LP."

The Furrs continue where they left off with their second EP titled More Furrs in true ‘don’t give a fuck’ fashion.

The band embodies this attitude, all the while crafting clever fuzz-pop-rock songs with biting lyrics and filtered chamber reverb that somebody almost certainly gave a fuck about. Deft production is the hero here; tracks like Flower search for half-arsed metaphors about how a “flower is something that grows on a tree”, and succeed thanks to impeccable mix balance and guitar effects. There’s enough here to satiate Furrs fans until they release an all-important LP.
