"With cringeworthy lyrics and moody teenage vibes; nothing is thrilling or exciting enough to get you dancing."

More The Chainsmokers More The Chainsmokers

After chart-toppers like Closer and Don't Let Me Down expectations are high, however the album fails to deliver brilliant catchy hooks and killer melodies.

Even with Andrew Taggart's improved vocals, the tracks are mediocre with cringeworthy lyrics and moody teenage vibes; nothing is thrilling or exciting enough to get you dancing. Something Just Like This featuring Coldplay's Chris Martin feels like a Coldplay track with more electro synths. My Type and Don't Say vocally are amazing as Emily Warren kills every note with lacklustre electro beats. Ultimately it all begins to sound the same, and the more you listen the more obvious it becomes.
