‘I Have To Go Rogue Every Single Time’: Peach PRC Reflects On The Past As She Steps Into Her New Era

Album Review: Superheaven - Ours Is Chrome

More Superheaven Superheaven

There are moments on Ours Is Chrome, the second album from Pennsylvania four-piece Superheaven, that’ll have you fist-pumping the air and headbanging with your mates like it’s going out of fashion.

These moments are grungy, they’re emotional, they’re focused, and they signal a band with plenty of upside. Still, there’s an overwhelming sense this record is too shiny, or too polished, to seem as organic as, say, Violent Soho with even their latest release. It’s as if they want to become the next big thing too badly and, here, it leads to their downfall.
