Album Review: Senses Fail - Pull The Thorns From Your Heart

A decade-long career, countless albums and also among the early leaders of the emo scene, Senses Fail now seem to be just followers in a post-hardcore landscape.

Opener, The Three Marks Of Existence is a heavy track that brilliantly opens and sets the mood for most of the album, then into Carry The Weight, which seems like a random shift of pace for an otherwise post-hardcore-sounding album and makes you feel like it was thrown in simply to please older fans. An album for those fans unlikely to bring in new listeners.
