Album Review: Saviour - First Light To My Death Bed

Tracks like Amber sum up the band’s hammer-and-tong sound that drops and stops in all the right places. These guys deserve to make some waves.

More Saviour More Saviour

Hard Aussie metalcore is having its flag well and truly waved with this latest release from Perth practitioners Saviour. First Light To My Death Bed is an album that shines brightly in all areas and makes creative use of the dynamics afforded by the genre. Slick production coupled with the tightness these lads possess as a unit is a lethal combination, and the unpredictability of the heavily detuned riffs and soaring peaks is inspired. Tracks like Amber sum up the band's hammer-and-tong sound that drops and stops in all the right places. These guys deserve to make some waves.
