Bingham writes songs with lyrics like, “I was born a cowboy, way out west in New Mexico… Nobody knows about my trouble, except for my baby and me.”

In a way, how you react to that short excerpt is probably a good indicator of how you’ll react to all of Fear And Saturday Night. From acoustic grit with hints of ‘70s outlaw country to dirty blues, Bingham is a bit of a throwback in all the best ways, with a sound reminiscent of early Steve Earle and a storytelling style to rival Springsteen.
