Well folks, its rolled around to that time of the week again. Another week closer to the new season of Game of Thrones and another absolutely killer guest mix for the PURPLE SNEAKERS show on FBi CLICK. Any guesses for this weeks mix? Hint: he sorta looks like the guy from those movies.
Correctamundo - It's the funky operator from sunny Brisbane, and James Franco lookalike - YOUNG FRANCO, rolling deep in the cut, bringing us this weeks guest mix. Solid house/nu-disco/awesome vibes ensue.
From strength to mighty strength, YOUNG FRANCO has been galavanting around the countryside in the past few months doing some heavyweight work. Since releasing his first EP, entitled 'FUTUREFUNK' just over a mere six months ago, he has seen Australia abroad on his own national tour, joined ALISON WONDERLAND (along with WAVE RACER) for her national secret warehouse tour, recently released a further 2-track EP, featuring songstress JOY and to top it all off, he has just played a slot at SPLENDOUR IN THE GRASS in beautiful Byron Bay.
And here's the kicker: YOUNG FRANCO (as the name would suggest), is just twenty years old. I'll let that sit with you for a second...
Being pals with the young dude, we decided to hit him up for some tunage in the form of a half hour mix for our FBi CLICK radio show. And tunage he delivered. YOUNG FRANCO hit us back with a slice of block-rocking beats that had us turning the radio studio into a temporary dancefloor.
