After signing with tastemaker label Soothsayer recently, ALTA sounded all grown up on their most recent single, and now Seven Davis Jr has remixed it.

Not long ago, Melbourne duo ALTA not only inked a deal with tastemaker label Soothsayer, but they also released perhaps one of their best songs yet in 'Plans'. Now, with BIGSOUND in their sights next week, the duo seem to be openly embracing their new 'Plans' and have tapped Seven Davis Jr to do the honours of remixing their latest tune, and we are so excited to give you your first listen today.

A duo that refuses to be pigeonholed, ALTA haven't tried to "fit in" with the current electronic scene; they've carved their own place and made room for themselves. With their unpredictable and eclectic range of sounds they use that give their tracks a life of their own, ALTA get ahead by doing them - and we love it.

'Plans' was a huge step forward for the duo, sounding all grown up yet still flirting with their playfulness that caught our attention in the first place, and now with Seven Davis Jr at the wheel, they sound different yet again. What was once a gentle, hypnotic tune as been thrown onto the dancefloor with heartbeat-like drums and a whole lot of groove.
