Peter Helliar
Peter Helliar is a comedian who likes to bring up the elephant in the room. Topics like being fat (rather than overweight), punching above your weight, sex, and the lack of it, in marriages are all comedic fodder for Helliar.
Turning 40 was the basis to his routine. Thus, in an almost philosophical way, he dissects his life up until what he was to what he is now: "an old fart".
Some great observational humour on child rearing, pilates and netball held the audience throughout his set. Combined with his sense of the irreverence, it made the performance a riotous success.
