Paul Foot is so unmistakably British you can almost smell the streets of London when in his presence. Certainly unorthodox, his hyperactive yet charming demeanour is hard not to love, and the endless rants and far-reaching tangents make you question what we were even talking about in the first place. An hour of unadulterated nonsense, but performed with such quick wit and excellent comedic timing, this flamboyant creature is pure comedy gold that very quickly had everyone in the Regal Theatre feeling just that bit more whimsical about Pierce Brosnan.
