When a butterfly flapped its wings somewhere in the world, Patrick Miller had a brainwave. Chaos is aptly named, as Miller leads his audience through the matrix of chaos theory in a bizarre sequence of cause and effect. Miller, of Vigelantelope comedy troupe and creator of Archibald Wheeler Whets the Whistle, has an incredible knack for characterisation. His many faces included a flirtatious butterfly, an alien, a mad farmer and a year 10 taking his revenge for being banned from the choir. Not to mention the gregarious cactus overlord running the show. Although the scene transitions could have been smoother, the costume changes made these brief sound interludes worthwhile. Miller's interactions with the audience were smooth and never uncomfortable. At one point he had the audience laughing so hard at their own laughter there was no telling when the cycle would end. Precise, intelligent and hilarious.
