Album Review: Passerine - More Human

Beginning with its punchy title track, More Human kicks off with the hazy, futuristic vibe that colours the entire body of work.

Synthetic Heart is filled with throbbing synths and leads into a climactic chorus as layered voices embellish the outro. Slow burning stand out Undergrowth presents melodic peaks and falls that are gorgeously gripping, specifically the strings serving as a tasty addition towards the latter half of the track. Among all the remixes, the most irresistible is JamBau's take on More Human. It's a funk-soaked, skittish, electro dream, with a tasty bass line and a half-time drop that sends the chorus to another level, leading into the second half of this edgy electro offering.
