Album Review: Orpheus Omega - Partum Vita Mortem

StarStarStarStar

"It can be said that this is a really fucking good album."

More Orpheus Omega Orpheus Omega

Sounding like a cross between Children Of Bodom and an early Parkway Drive, yet surpassing the caricatures those bands both possess, is only a good thing for Orpheus Omega.

With powerful leads and strong vocals that decorate technicality on the drums it can be said that this is a really fucking good album. There haven't been so many notable Australian bands playing music of this style in recent times and the implementation of synth is integral to the heavy sound of the band — without detracting from it either. Extra points for the album being a whopping 13 tracks!
