Op Shop Tour

"A magical mystery ride."

The MICF Op Shop Tour is a magical mystery ride – you hop on a vintage bus (green vinyl seats!) at Melbourne Town Hall, joining charismatic host Joanne O’Callaghan and cool guest comedians (today Jen Carnovale and Dolly Diamond).

We’re headed to the southern suburbs, visiting five oppies in four hours. Divulging destinations would be spoilery (but Bentleigh, wow). O’Callaghan, with a music theatre pedigree, introduces the fun impressively singing Shirley Bassey’s Propellerheads-helmed History Repeating. There’s one lone male shopper. After each stop, O’Callaghan encourages show and tell. Diamond, wearing a fab loud ‘n’ proud ‘60s maxi-dress, swoops on any long gloves and glomesh handbags – perfect for her comedy cabaret, The Real Queen Of Moomba.
