"There’s a familiarity in the wavelength-like undulations of Guilty Of Everything, but that makes it even more alluring."

More Nothing More Nothing

Philadelphia shoegazers Nothing gave the genre a cathartic, thunderous second wind with 2012's Downward Years To Come EP, and up the ante considerably with their debut full-length. The fact it has its home on renowned metal label Relapse speaks volumes. The inherent factor here is the sense of calm and quiet amidst the bluster – a sonorous quality permeates tracks like Hymn To The Pillory, Endlessly and Dig allowing the noise to seep smoothly into the pores of your being. There's a familiarity in the wavelength-like undulations of Guilty Of Everything, but that makes it even more alluring.
