Fuelled by spates of vocal gymnastics, Mac’s storytelling vocal style quickly charms, permeating her appealing, lyrical tracks. With soulful clapping ringing through a pared-back piano melody, single/opener Roll Up Your Sleeve offers hints of quirk-factor and earthy positivity without grating.
