Adelaide dude LUKE MILLION is the latest family member to join independent label, etcetc. Wasting no time with this addition to his resume, the producer will be releasing his debut etcetc EP this Friday, 26th September. Titled Light & Sound, the artist has just revealed the film clip to the title track that has been crafted by Sydney collective Entropico and designer Laura Ives.
Creating a harmonious balance against the white blank plain, we pay attention to the characteristic movements of a variety of different animals. The journey begins with the graceful leap of a slim fox, before the smooth wriggle of a fish, the slither of a snake and the soaring wave of a bird's maginificent wings; all indiviually travelling along to the songs crisp vocals and rich instrumentation. Eventually grouping together as a herd, the animals ride in unity and express their own light and sound through their unique physiques.
Achieved with the application of lush water colours and a stop-start motion to detail each image, Luke Million's 'Light & Sound' celebrates not only the diversity of the animal kingdom, but the beauty in how nature can so wonderfully respond to the voice of music.
