Live Review: PREMIERE: Tigerilla remixes Porsches 'Blood To A Shark

Today TIGERILLA shares his latest efforts - an electrifying remix of Porsches' 'Blood To A Shark', and we are so excited to bring you the very first listen.

Today TIGERILLA shares his latest efforts - an electrifying remix of Porsches' 'Blood To A Shark', and we are so excited to bring you the very first listen.

You may have heard of the Melbourne based producer before through his collaborations with rapper/artist Allday, such as their relaxed-groove track, 'Digital'. Well, since then, the masterful electronic producer has released the likes of his track 'Difference', and most recently, funk hip-hop track 'TULIPS' ft. Gill Bates. Now the legend has decided to take it old school and gift us with another remix he oh so enjoys doing, this time tackling Sydney duo Porsches and their honeyed-pop sounds.

Just over a month ago, electronic due Porsches created the wonderfully burning track, 'Blood To A Shark', but here Tigerilla gives it a new life. With the original song featuring a serious pulsating element, Tigerilla has taken this element and intensified it by a thousand (at least). Reforming an electronic dance track to one that's effortlessly rave-like consumed by heaving drops and killer synth loops, Tigerilla is really in the zone here and it's an enthralling listen from start to finish.

Tigerilla will be showcasing at BIGSOUND next week, as he continues his stellar run in 2016. After performing onstage with Nicole Millar as she supported Troye Sivan and his work producing Mallrat's 'Uninvited' EP, he's also gearing up to open his own club in his hometown of Adelaide, and by the sounds of this and his track last week with Gill Bates, he's sitting on some pretty music of his own too. Bring it on!

Catch Porsches on their remaining DJ tour dates as well:

Saturday, Sept 3 - Anyway, Melbourne

Saturday Sept 10 - Yours, Beach Road Hotel, Bondi

Saturday Sept 17 - Fat Controller, Adelaide
