After the release of her debut single back in March titled 'Kids', Brisbane artist TIARNE has had quite a ride. Not only has she found fans over at Triple J Unearthed who added her track to rotation, but she's also nabbed a spot at Red Deer Festival, and was a finalist in this year's QUBE Effect competition in Brisbane. Now, she's sharing another track of hers, and if what she's achieved with just one under her belt is anything to go by, it's only up from here.

Tiarne's second ever single, 'Golden', is a dream. It's gentle and calm, with whispers of influences from the likes of Lykke LiHighasakiteJulia Stone or even Regina Spektor in the way she uses her voice as an instrument, but it's coupled with her own unique flair. She opens up with a delicate guitar line before her incredible voice echoes out in the sparse space she's created, before the track blooms into a full and spellbinding song. Her evocative lyrics feel warm, like a hug or a blanket on a cold night wrapping you up, providing a sense of comfort while simultaneously demanding your attention.

Utterly captivating and really impressive, Tiarne captures the sounds of home but mixes them with a global appeal that will surely see her great success in the weeks/months/years to come. You can catch her in action at her single launch this Friday, September 1st at The Flying Cock in Brisbane, or at Red Deer Festival on October 14th.
