Thandi Phoenix releases latest single about self-assurance drawing inspiration from Egyptian femme fatale Cleopatra with an electronic pop sound

On the same day that her debut national tour kicks off, THANDI PHOENIX proves herself to be a musical powerhouse by dropping an inspiring banger. The new track ‘Cleopatra’ draws inspirational from the ultimate Egyptian femme fatale herself to deliver a message of self-assurance and appreciation. It’s a catchy and energetic dance track where you just can’t help but move to the beat.

Phoenix explains the meaning behind her latest single, “It’s about holding your own, knowing exactly what you bring to the table and never allowing someone to treat you less than you deserve. It’s a song for all my queens, to remember their strength, beauty and power.”

The track provides an interesting blend of pop and electronica with honest lyrics. The chorus features a build and drop that will absolutely get you dancing, and is perfectly paired with Phoenix’s soulful, yet poised vocals.
