Taking on Suiix's brooding pop single 'Alright', we're super stoked to be premiering Tennis Boys' impeccable new number today.

If you're anything like me, you're one of those people that spent their entire week doing sport when you were a kid at school. But now that you've left, sport doesn't really exist anymore. The sportiest I'm getting this week is all thanks to this airy new remix coming in from TENNIS BOYS.

Taking on Suiix's brooding pop single 'Alright', we're super stoked to be premiering this impeccable number today.

Floating through a thick haze of almost lo-fi percussion, the sampled vocals feel like a breath of fresh air. This industrial number utilises rhythm to the utmost degree, shifting in and out of definite and indefinite beats. I think that's why this one feels so magical; there's that odd tension between feeling like a dance track but also appealing to a sense of experimentalism.

There's an oddly calming flux pulsing throughout that pushes this one into almost unknown territory. I'd love to see how this translates into a live setting, I think this could be so beautifully done.

There's a slight intermission in the middle of this track, which gives rise to a new, more hasty beat.

Tennis Boys have a real knack for making their sound known. 'Alright' has been flipped, moulded and completely recontextualised, but that's moreso the beauty of this number. It's all in the subtleties.

Suiix and Tennis Boys will be playing a show together this Friday.
