SNAKADAKTAL have become one of Australia's most popular bands and it's not hard to see why. Their smooth, enigmatic sounds have become music library / iPod playlist staples... You definitely can't be blamed for singing along to 'Hung On Tight' when you hear it.
Since the release of their debut album Sleep In The Water, the band have had some remixes surface of one of their catchier tracks, 'Fall Underneath'. HAYDEN JAMES recently remixed the track and it was instantly a track that everyone loved. COSMO'S MIDNIGHT have also remixed a track from the album which has also received a lot of attention.
Each remix that surfaces from SNAKADAKTAL's collection has been just that little bit more amazing than the last and now, not long after the HAYDEN JAMES hype, KILTER has jumped on the SNAKADAKTAL wagon and released a remix of 'Fall Underneath' as well.
KILTER has been producing some pretty decent remixes of late and this particular mix of 'Fall Underneath' melds together a tropical sweetness with the original tracks haunting melody. Slowing down the verses to highlight the lovely vocal tracks, he has kept very true to the original sounding like there have only been a few extra sounds added. The original tune does still shine with the added samples and synths bouncing above it like balls rolling over a sheet that is being flung into the air. It's a very bouncy remix that has the potential to keep you feeling very happy.
KILTER is currently on tour with his debut track 'Hold Me' and if he hasn't stopped by your town just yet he will surely be around soon.
