'Everything Fell Off': The Struggles That Birthed Telenova's New Album, 'The Warning'

Live Review: Shit Robot 'Do It (Right)' (Lidell Townsell Remix)

Shit Robot has had his track remixed by the man who lent him his vocals.

When SHIT ROBOT and LIDELL TOWNSELL collaborated on 'Do It (Right)', they produced a fun dance track featuring TOWNSELL's own infectious vocals.

LIDELL TOWNSELL, if you didn't already know, has been mixing tracks for a very long time and SHIT ROBOT is actually a big fan, "One of the greatest things about making this record was getting to work with Lidell Townsell. He’s such a great and positive guy."

The producer became familiar with producer's work in 1992 and has now collaborated with him on his Do It (Right) Digital Remix EP.

Heavy percussion plays a large part in 'Do It (Right)', as well as the smooth piano track. The vocals bounce over the piano as the song builds itself up and once 'Do It (Right)' is in full swing, we can see the garage and light house influences that helped create this mini-masterpiece. Old school house synths are scattered across the track and the piano melody becomes the driving force of the piece alongside TOWNSELL's suave vocals.

The Do It (Right) Digital Remix EP is set for release on September 9 through DFA Records and although it's not your usual SHIT ROBOT experience, it's still an exciting EP that will get you moving.
