Electro don Nite Fleit returns to her spiritual home, Steel City Dance Discs for the strongest installation to her discography yet.

Nite Fleit is becoming a household name not just in electro scenes, but underground dance scenes globally. The Aussie native, London based DJ/producer has been on a hot run of releases as of late. With releases on Planet Euphorique, Looking for Trouble and Dance Trax all in the past year, she's solidified herself as more than just a turbo DJ, but an artist with an ear for well thought, provocative dance floor killers. She now returns to her spiritual home, Steel City Dance Discs for the best installation to her discography yet.

Opening the EP is 'Penguin March'. A swift four-to-the-floor drum line opens with somber synths. Turning into something like a techno ballad, the track is then disturbed by glitchy percussion and an industrial synth rumble. The heavy kick is throttled to the front of the mix, transporting the track to rave territory as a hint of what's to come. All the elements combine creating an ethereal techno inspired dream, matching the comforting yet disturbing nature of the cover art. Then comes 'All New Low'. Reminiscent of her track 'Hot Bot', this one is a electro-infused burner. Without letting the audience come up for air, the track is lethal in its delivery of a savage bass line, flat kick and cheeky vocal lines.

'Pippa Arrives' is the most rave ready hit on the EP. Gargantuan synths melt perfectly with abrasive percussion. This is a proper mover, I'd recommend only to play with care. Closing the EP is 'Little Monsters', a track in classic Nite Fleit electro territory as crystalline synth lines combine with a wobbly 909 acid tremble over a distorted break beat drum line.

Nite Fleit really delivers here, in a way unlike her other releases. A sense of maturity and care inside the somewhat turbo, dancefloor driven community of techno and electro can be hard to find, but Nite Fleit is all class. She's got a way with tunes on club and festival stages, but EPs like this highlight she's a force to be reckoned with on the production side as well.
