Live Review: MUNA 'So Special'

The trio of ladies making up girl band, MUNA, are bringing forth an eclectic sound of new wave electronica. Check out their newest single release 'So Special'.

This Los Angeles 3 piece outfit who have recently landed on the electronic music scene, MUNA, and are quickly turning heads with their synth pop sensibility. These dark angels of electronica (with virtually no money) have managed to concoct a sound that effortlessly infuses 80's pop with the opaque submerged sounds of lo-fi, from their LA home.

'So Special', asserts them as a trio on the uprise; using glistening synths, harmonic melodies and echoed vocals to create a sort of dark poptronica that is impeccable in production, uniquely their own and embraces a powerful fem voice.
