Live Review: LISTEN: Millions 'Slow Burner'

Millions are headed on tour with Last Dinosaurs. Have you got your tickets yet? Because they're being snapped up fast.

Brisbane band, MILLIONS are touring with PURPLE SNEAKERS favourites, Last Dinosaurs this April. You really ought to keep an eye on these 4 young fellows - they won Triple J Unearthed’s competition to play Splendour in the Grass last year, and have supported much-loved indie acts The Grates, Bleeding Knees Club and The Belligerents.

Their newest track to drop, ‘Slow Burner’ is a piece of garage pop that showcases their best riffs, husky vocals and a crashing drum beat. It’s a slow-burning song, making it’s way quietly and with trepidation to a climax each and every chorus. Millions, I’ll stay with you.

Millions’ 2 2011 EPs, Those Girls and Gurus were much loved by fans. Hopefully the release that shows off this little number will be as widely adored. From first listen, I can’t help but think yes.

Words by Hannah Story.
