Live Review: Get your morning fix with Mayavanya's 'Caffeine'

Picture this: it's pouring rain outside, you're stuck inside and your only solace is a hot cup of milo (if you think you're too old for milo then you're already six feet under.) We've all been there, stuck in some shitty weather and wanting nothing more than to rewind to those hot summer nights spent outside with good tunes and even better mates.

Well the girls from MAYAVANYA know exactly how we feel and their track 'Caffeine' (Feat Maribelle) is the result of summertime memories that sustained them over a European winter.

New Zealand bred, the girls certainly know a thing or two about nasty winters but perhaps living in good ole' Melbourne had them forgetting that other places have this thing called seasons. Lucky for us that summertime sadness which has most of us complaining to our co-workers of an early morning was far more fruitful for MayaVanya. I'm not saying they didn't complain to Maribelle, who leads the vocals for this track, but they did make a killer track with that complaining and that is far more productive than most of us can claim to be.

'Caffeine' rests on a bouncy beat and is led along by lusty vocals, but don't take our word for it. Give 'Caffeine' to liven up a summertime party, or try to alleviate your winter blues.
