Brother/sister duo, LASTLINGS, have been on our radar for a while with killer tracks such as 'Chills' and 'Verona' catching our attention and their latest offering, their debut EP infact, Unreality, is no different.

The five track EP features three tracks we've heard from them before; the enrapturing 'Chills,' ethereal 'Verona' and 'Wavelength' (which will be in your head for days after just one listen)The two new songs from the duo are titled 'Another Way' and '~IRIGUCHI~' respectively.

If you know any Japanese (or have access to good old Google translate in my case) then you know just from '~IRIGUCHI~'s title that Lastlings' 'Unreality' has been crafted with the intent to take you to another plane of reality. Iriguchi is Japanese for 'entrance' and as '~IRIGUCHI~' is the first song on the 'Unreality' it is clear that this song is the portal to the reality of the Lastling sibling's creation.

As promised, Unreality transports the listener. Ghostly vocals, layered, chilling electronica and deep beats take you away as you're immersed in this all-too-short track listing.

With the vague promise of 'more to come in 2016' and such an excellent first release, it is assured we will be keeping an eye on Lastlings.
