Originating from the small market town of Kettering in Northamptonshire of East England, the boys of JUST KIDDIN have broken free of the small-town world, and have slammed headfirst into a world where their sound presents no limitations.
Wandering confidently along the sound scapes of deep house, house and even a tinge of funk and soul, there’s a reason why JUST KIDDIN have been championed by the likes of DUKE DUMONT and TENSNAKE.
Their latest offering ‘Thinking About It’ actually reminds me a lot of some of the work DUKE DUMONT has done lately, what with its silky smooth synths, creamy vocals and tight percussion. Out through Eton Messy Records for less than a week now, the track’s proven to be an instant hit, and one that’s just in time to soak up the sunny US summer.
‘Thinking About It’ is the ultimate anthem for a sunny day. Offering relaxed vibes to pair beautifully with the smooth as butter vox, the track works to climax into this shimmering pool of inviting sounds.
JUST KIDDIN have worked hard to make a track that elevates their sounds to greater heights than ever before, and it’s worked oh so well.
