Live Review: LISTEN: Gold Panda 'Brazil'

Percussions that pulsate like a heaving mass on a hot day. Hazy synths linger thick in the air. It's minimal yet evocative. It's classic GOLD PANDA.

London based producer GOLD PANDA is dreamy in every sense of the word. He is broody, mysterious and has a knack for being able to build beats that transcend you to neighbouring dimensions.

Or in the case of his latest single.... just across the world to Brazil. Percussions that pulsate like a heaving mass on a hot day. Delicate chimes breeze throughout. Hazy synths linger thick in the air. It's minimal yet evocative. It's classic GOLD PANDA.

Since his 2011 debut release Lucky Shiner GOLD PANDA has steadily worked himself a keen cult following of shoe gazers, who like to dance. 'Brazil' is a cut from his forthcoming second album Half Of Where You Live which is due to be released later this year through his own label NOTOWN and Ghostly International.
