Meet Melbourne electronic duo GL, if you haven't already heard of them, then you need to, especially with the release of their latest track, 'Grip'.

Ella Thompson and Graham Pogson have been making music together as GL for over two years now and have created quite the scene in the music industry. Performing at events such as OutsideIn FestivalSplendour in the Grass and Meredith Music Festival all in the space of one year including releasing a line of tracks, such as their renowned track 'Number One'. Cosmic-funk duos' latest track, 'Grip' (to be featured on their forthcoming debut album Touch) definitely takes funk to the next level, showing off Ella's smooth melodic lines and catchy chorus, fused with vibrant piano chords and groovy beat.

From Ella herself, "'Grip' is about physical love. This is a recurring theme in our album 'Touch'. When something takes its grip and really has a hold on you, it can feel like a game of cat and mouse. You might say all the right things, try and keep your cool but in the end your body does the talking."
