An effortlessly warm track has just fallen into our hands via FØRD, titled, 'The Pier'.
Only 18 years old and FØRD has released a slew of excellent tracks. With a knack for collaborating with some of Australia's young and upcoming artists the producer has featured the likes of Grace Hughes, Xavier Dunn and Fueg. A clear fan of Melbourne singer/songwriter Woodes, previously releasing a remix of her song 'Daggers & Knives', now FØRD and Woodes have teamed up for his latest release.
'The Pier' takes elements from the realms of electronic music they're both familiar with, and combines it with a sweet soundscape forming an oasis of serenity. Woodes' inviting vocals, a pure highlight of the track, makes the piece what it is. Relaxed rhythms follow along legato melodic lines, complementing sounds of nature as well as the violent contrast of electro-pop. Swallow yourself amongst FØRDs' latest, it's a killer!
