Live Review: FØRD teams up with Woodes for effortlessly beautiful 'The Pier'

FØRD teams up with fellow rising star Woodes for an effortlessly beautiful new collaboration, 'The Pier'.

An effortlessly warm track has just fallen into our hands via FØRD, titled, 'The Pier'.

Only 18 years old and FØRD has released a slew of excellent tracks. With a knack for collaborating with some of Australia's young and upcoming artists the producer has featured the likes of Grace HughesXavier Dunn and Fueg. A clear fan of Melbourne singer/songwriter Woodes, previously releasing a remix of her song 'Daggers & Knives', now FØRD and Woodes have teamed up for his latest release.

'The Pier' takes elements from the realms of electronic music they're both familiar with, and combines it with a sweet soundscape forming an oasis of serenity. Woodes' inviting vocals, a pure highlight of the track, makes the piece what it is. Relaxed rhythms follow along legato melodic lines, complementing sounds of nature as well as the violent contrast of electro-pop. Swallow yourself amongst FØRDs' latest, it's a killer!
