'Everything Fell Off': The Struggles That Birthed Telenova's New Album, 'The Warning'

Live Review: Djemba Djemba 'I Just Go' (Obey City Remix)

Obey City is the first to reveal his remix of Djemba Djemba's track 'I Just Go'

DJEMBA DJEMBA has had his track 'I Just Go' remixed by OBEY CITY and if you loved the original, you'll be glad to know that this new remix doesn't stray too far off it.

'I Just Go' was released through Mad Decent over a year ago but the track is still being played everywhere. The synths warp themselves around the initial rhythm and hollow percussion drips it's way down into the mix at a very simple and easy pace.

The track has a liquidated element which tends to work well with  that 'I Just Go' clearly has. There's a cool mix of samples and synths that create a track that is not only a joy to listen to, but also a joy to dance to.

OBEY CITY have just released their remix of 'I Just Go' and the liquidation has been turned down to make way for the new heavy hip-hop influence. There's a new energy that is produced on 'I Just Go' expressed by the heavier bass and where it's placed. The bass gives 'I Just Go' a new grit that the original didn't have and now not only do we have a very suave original mix from DJEMBA DJEMBA, but we also have a badass new remix from OBEY CITY.

The OBEY CITY remix is apart of a new remix package for 'I Just Go' that will be released through Mad Decent on a date that is still yet to be announced.
