Teenage pop phenomenon BILLIE EILISH is back and at it again with newest single ‘When The Party’s Over’. It’s a minimalist track featuring the sixteen-year-old’s signature crooning vocals backed up by murmuring piano chords. It’s slow building, delicate and vulnerable, and whilst it remains brimming with emotion, sits sturdily in the down-tempo end of Eilish’s discography.
Once again, Eilish has teamed up with her long time collaborator and (quite conveniently) big brother Finneas O’Connell to produce the track. O’Connell is well known in his own right thanks to television roles in shows like Glee and Modern Family, however has been flexing his muscles in music production for some time now. That’s a pretty powerful sibling duo if you’re asking us!

With three platinum records under her belt already, including breakout tracks ‘ocean eyes’, ‘bellyache’ and more recent release ‘lovely (with Khalid)’ (that’s actually DOUBLE platinum, FYI), it’s pretty clear that Eilish shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. The artist is set to embark on her sold-out 1 BY 1 North American tour this week after performing on The Ellen Degeneres Show earlier this month, and there are rumours of a debut album set for release in 2019.

She has also been announced on the Laneway Festival NZ lineup and is joining pop heavyweights Florence + the Machine on their upcoming Australian tour. Seriously big moves for a sixteen-year-old and we can’t wait.
